The Untold Story
Originally, this piece was a passionate love story. “Finding your way back to each other” and igniting the light in the dark.
My friend had been seeing the piece evolve and without context I asked her to interpret what she saw. She told me she saw one hand was holding on tightly and the other one was letting go. From her expression I felt as though she saw the piece a lot clearer than I did. From then on I could never unsee the new story it had taken on.
It was a funny yet strange feeling — the thought that my art work had already witnessed and maybe lived many lives without me noticing.
Materials: Acrylic, Collage Photography
Size: 30” x 40”
